Why Do You Need a Planner?
Planning your homeschool journey takes time and effort! I’m here to help you make sure you don’t waste a moment wondering how to get organized. Whether you are a seasoned organizer looking for just the right homeschool planner, or you’re new to planners and wondering which one to pick, I have a great tool for you.
My Homeschool Journey Planner is easy to use and flexible. You can print all of the pages, or pick and choose the ones you need. With 8 different pages to choose from you’re sure to find some that work for you to make your homeschool journey a little easier and more organized.
Keep the printables in a sturdy three-ring binder and you’ll have a place to put other important items such as supply lists and book lists, or other school paperwork you want to keep track of. You can add dividers, page protectors, stickers, or whatever you like to personalize your planner. Make it your own!
Included in this Homeschool Journey Planner:
- An at-a-glance yearly schedule for each individual month, helping you keep track of appointments and special projects. Quickly and easily locate important dates.
- A page for planning and tracking homeschool goals, either as a homeschool or for each individual child. Goals can provide a framework for deciding which subjects to study, or which materials to acquire. Goals for an individual can include their strengths and areas that need improvement. See more goal-setting tips here.
- A page for keeping track of your homeschool to-do list. From assignments to subjects covered and projects to plan for, having a handy to-do list is essential.
- A page for tracking and recording student grades. Important if you need these for your records.
- A page for planning unit studies. Planning unit studies is a big job. From choosing a theme to planning activities and gathering materials. Make that job a little easier with my unit study planning pages.
- A page for brainstorming lesson ideas. Gather all your lesson plan ideas in one place! Saved from napkins and the back of grocery lists to a spot where they are easily found again, you can keep all your great lesson ideas here.
- A page for jotting down field trip ideas. Keep track of all your great ideas for outings here. Make notes about which subject or goal each trip could relate to and see all your ideas in one place for time and budget planning.
- I’ve even included a page for tracking your homeschool budget! It’s super important to have a good plan in place before spending those hard-earned dollars on supplies or curriculum. Once you’ve got your goals, course of study, and field trips planned out, my budget tracker page will help you stay on budget for the school year.
