Christ-Giving Tree | Our New Christ-Centered Holiday Tradition

Whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving with kids or you’re looking for Christmas activities that encourage positive lessons, this Christ-Giving Tree is a wonderful activity that is sure to become a treasured Christ-centered holiday tradition in your home.

To enjoy a Christ-Giving Tree, first you need to set up your Christmas tree, sans ornaments. We set ours up the second of November, directly following Halloween.

How to Enjoy a Christ-Giving Tree?

Once your tree is set up, tell your kids you are going to be gathering around the tree every day to talk about something that Christ has given us.

Then every day, your kids will get to write down a gift from God that they are grateful for and hang that item on the tree.

You can do this by making your own little cards or notes, or by printing out these decorative Christ-Giving Tree printables I made for you. Perfect for your Christ-Giving Tree!

Do this every day leading up to Thanksgiving, or perhaps December 1st, whichever suits your fancy. Or if you prefer, continue all the way up to Christmas Day.
