How to Use the St. Patrick’s Day Writing Prompts in Your Classroom

Whether you’re using these for homeschool, or you use them in a traditional classroom, there are plenty of ways to use them:

Morning warm up – These writing prompts make fun morning warm up assignments. Since there are six, you could use one a morning leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.
As a pre-writing activity – Rather than start off with your kid writing a full story, you could use the prompts as a pre-writing activity. You could give all the pages to your students, and have them jo down notes about what each makes them think about. From there, they could choose one to compose an entire story about.
As a writing center activity – If you’re doing stations, this would make a great writing center for a group.
