Top Free Printable Addition Worksheets and Activities for Kids
The best free printable adding worksheets and activities for kids!
Addition Color by Number Sailboat
If your kids like color by number worksheets, check out this super cute color by code addition printable. It features a sailboat and gives your kids plenty of practice adding single digits together.
Addition Spinner
If you've got some brads and a pair of scissors, give your kids some extra addition practice with this free addition spinner set. It includes a bunch of pages for your kids to work with until they master their addition.
You'll have a cover sheet that you will cut out (it's shaped like a circle) and then you'll slice out a triangular chunk. Cut out a matching sheet (another circle) and stick the front page to the second page with your brad.
Now your addition spinners will spin and your kids can practice answering the simple addition problems all on their own! You can even make a game out of it. Normally this addition spinner costs $3 in my shop but recently I dropped the price down to FREE so more families can enjoy it.
Transportation Addition Color by Number worksheet Submarine
Here's another fun addition color by number worksheet. This one features a super cute submarine and again includes practice for single digit addition.
Addition Color by Code Hot Air Balloon
This color by code worksheet was one of the first color by number worksheets I ever made. It's not as good as some of my later work but it gets the job done. Download yours for free and help your kids learn how to add!
Addition Dice Game
Encourage even more addition practice with this free adding dice game. All you need is a pencil, a pair of dice, and this free printable worksheet.
Addition Squares Game
While not exactly a worksheet, this free addition squares game is another easy way to get some adding practice in. All you need is a pencil, some dice, and a couple of players.
Players roll the dice and then add the two numbers together. They then find the answer on the sheet and draw one line next to that number.
Game proceeds until lines begin to create boxes. If you create a box, fill in that box with your initial or color. At the end, the player with the most boxes wins!
More Math Worksheets
Or if you like, you can check out some of the other printable math worksheets I’ve created. I’ve got multiplication worksheets and division worksheets. They include plenty some fun math-related activities for kids. Check them out!
And for younger kids, just plain color by number worksheets are a good way to teach number recognition. My friend Crystal has some Cinco De Mayo color by number worksheets here if your preschoolers want to give them a try.
