What Are The 5 Senses?
Before we get started with the Halloween 5 senses learning activity, let’s quickly review what the 5 senses are.
The 5 senses include sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.
Each sense is responsible for a different type of input that we receive from the world around us.
For example, our sense of smell allows us to identify different aromas, while our sense of touch allows us to feel the texture of an object.
Our 5 senses work together to help us understand and interact with the world around us.
How to Play The Halloween 5 Senses Spinner Game
This learning activity is best played with 2-4 players. To get started, you will need to print out the spinner game board and cut out the spinners.
Once you have everything cut out, simply attach a brad to the center of each spinner, attaching the cut-out window to the answer page.
Next, players take turns spinning the spinners and identifying the object on their spinner that corresponds with the sense that they spun.
For example, if a player spins the “sight” spinner and lands on the “pumpkin” answer, they would identify the object by saying, “I see a pumpkin.”
If a player is unable to identify the object on their spinner, they can ask for help from another player or an adult.
It’s fun and easy!
