Build Your Bundle Homeschool Curriculum Savings

Hi, Friend!
In this article, I’m going to share with you the 3 ways I helped my children love learning while still being able to find balance and fun in our school days, without wasting a bunch of money. I promise I am going to give you those but first let me tell you a bit about myself.
When I first started homeschooling, I really resonated with the unschoolers. I liked how free and relaxed their homeschoolers were compared to other families I was familiar with, and I especially loved how their kids were free to follow their passions and learn what they wanted to learn.
However, the lack of structure and parent direction really bothered me. I was torn between offering my kids a stress-free, inviting learning environment and providing them with the situations necessary to become disciplined and capable of doing hard things and completing work they did not want to do.
So how did I finally find peace and fun in my homeschool?
- The first thing I did to help my kids develop a love of learning was to help them discover what they are interested in. I learned that my kids are much more willing to complete our school days when they are actually interested in what we are studying.
- The second thing I did to help my kids develop a love of learning was to provide them with unstructured learning time. When we weren’t officially ‘doing school’ I would provide them with educational resources that they were allowed to explore on their own terms.
- The third method I used to develop a love of learning in my kids was to casually introduce new topics and subjects into our school days
Unfortunately, I don’t have the time, the creativity, nor the money to surround my kids with every educational resource under the sun, and I certainly don’t have the means to invest in something that will never get used. That’s why I’m such a big fan of bundles.
