What is STEM?

But first, what is STEM? STEM is an acronym that stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. Oftentimes people will include an A for art (STEAM).

STEM activities involve at least one if not multiple subjects, all in one hands-on activity. This is why STEM activities are so effective – they are multi-faceted. Educators have long been talking about the benefits of STEM education and homeschool parents love these activities too.

STEM activities are a fun way for kids to experience many ideas and concepts all at the same time!
