God is Our Father
God, or Heavenly Father, is the Father of our spirits. We learn in The Bible that He was our Father before we came to this Earth, and that He is still our Heavenly Father and He loves us. He cares for us and loves us and wants us to come back to live with Him again.
God is also the Father of Jesus Christ, our older brother. Jesus Christ came to Earth to suffer for all of our sins, and to die for us so that we could return to live with Him and God again one day. We learn all of these Gospel truths in the scriptures, bible verses, and Sunday School. Christian parents teach kids bible stories and have family devotions all surrounding these important truths.

Teaching Kids – Who Is God?
In addition to teaching children His word via The Bible and other important scriptures, parents must grab onto teachable moments whenever they present themselves. Allowing children to ask questions and not being afraid to answer them is an important part of not only family devotionals and Bible study, but also regular family time.
God’s word is something the world teaches us not to listen to, and if we are not careful, our children will hear this message and attach themselves to it. This is actually a big reason so many families are beginning to homeschool – so that God’s love can be a strong focus on the family throughout regular activities as well as studies and lessons.
Young children are growing up who don’t know how to listen to The Holy Spirit or how to recognize God’s love. This is something that must be changed before it is too late! Kids must be capable of standing up for their own faith because the world will surely teach them not to.
The Father I Cannot See
The Father I Cannot See is a fun Christian children’s book, or rather a poem, that teaches kids God is our Father. In addition to The Bible and reading scriptures and Bible verses as a family, young children will also benefit from Bible stories and other good Christian children’s books, such as The Father I Cannot See.
